Fiberglass and Gelcoat Repair
Cosmetic damage repaired, color-matched, and blended in.
Dock rash, gelcoat chips, and stress cracks are common on boats that get used. Many cosmetic repairs can be sanded, color-matched, and polished back to blend with the surrounding finish.
Cosmetic damage and structural damage are different problems. A chip in the gelcoat is one thing; a soft spot, delamination, or a crack that flexes needs an assessment before anyone quotes a repair.

Good to know
Cosmetic versus structural
Soft decks, delamination, and cracks that flex are structural concerns that need to be assessed in person. We'll tell you if damage goes beyond a cosmetic repair.
Not every repair can happen dockside
Weather, access, and the size of the repair decide what can be done on-site. Some work needs a covered or controlled space, and we'll say so up front.
Color matching has limits
Faded gelcoat makes matching harder. We match to the surrounding color as closely as the finish allows, then blend.
Photo estimates are free. An on-site assessment is $95 plus approved travel and is credited toward an approved repair. Specialist labor is $150/hr.
Common questions
Can fiberglass repairs be completed on-site?
Many cosmetic repairs can. Larger or structural repairs may need a different setup, and weather matters. We'll confirm after seeing photos or the damage.
How do I know if damage is structural?
Signs include soft or spongy spots, cracks that open and close, and damage near stress points like transoms and stringers. When in doubt, send photos and we'll tell you what we see.
